Inspired by Cornish fisherman's ganseys, this vest is knitted in a traditional seafarer’s 5ply British guernsey wool, known for it's dense structure to help guard against the elements.
Ribbing and bars stitch texture feature on the upper body, whilst a split ribbed hem and flattering mock neckline create a modern, feminine silhouette. Designed to bring extra warmth to the body and neck, with the sleeveless style lending itself to layering throughout the seasons.
We craft this style in house in our West Cornwall studio, knitted to order using a hand powered knitting machine.
