Carnwear X Forgotten Fish

A collaborative film by Nick Whitworth, featuring Rich Adams of Argoe Newlyn

Rich Adams grew up in Newlyn, a fishing harbour and village that lies not far West of Penzance. With a family business in fish wholesale, Rich has a natural understanding of the industry that shapes the community here, although having moved away for a period of time (studying photography, working in kitchens and learning the art of furniture making), he returned to Newlyn with a fresh outlook. Rich’s work as @forgotten.fish creatively offers up solutions to some of the current problems within the industry, including waste. By supplying chefs and restaurants (including his own harbour side restaurant @argoenewlyn) with more unusual cuts and species of fish, he is promoting a nose to tail approach and highlighting that more sustainable ways of consuming and sourcing fish are possible.
